| Justin and Alisha Clark were both born and raised in West Monroe, Louisiana a medium sized town in the northeast portion of the state. They attended church and school together as they grew up and were good friends through their youth days. Their friendship grew into love and they were married in 2001. Justin and Alisha both have bachelor’s degrees from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Justin has a Master’s of Arts in Religion from Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. MCC is Justin’s first full time pastorate with most of his and Alisha’s ministry background being in youth and children’s ministry. They felt the Lord leading them into adult full time service and were led to the Batesville area in late 2006. Justin became pastor of MCC in October of 2007. |

| In January of 1986 Melbourne Community Church opened its doors to the people of Izard County with a God given vision and purpose. Melbourne Community Church (MCC) is an interdenominational body of believers which is committed to fulfilling its responsibilities within the body of Christ. Our single-minded goal in everything we do is to reach as many people as possible for Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the only answer for people's needs and the problems facing the world today. The way for us to meet that goal is clear - make Jesus Christ the center and focus of everything we do! MCC exists to: 1. Evangelize the lost - Matthew 28:18-10 2. Be committed to prayer - Philippians 4:6 3. Be actively involved in mission - Acts 1:8 4. Minister to the poor, widows and orphans Matthew 25:35-45 5. Teach and disciple believers - Ephesians 4:11-16 6. Worship and praise the Lord in Spirit and TruthJohn 17:11-13 7. Be non-sectarian and one with the whole body ofChrist - John 17:11-13 8. Grow Spiritually and numerically - Acts 2:46-47 MCC Believes: 1. Salvation is by grace through faith and is a free gift from God and not works Ephesians 2:8-9 2. God is all powerful (omnipotent), all-knowing (omniscient), and everywhere (omni-present). 3. Jesus Christ a. Is the Son of God b. Is the born of a virgin c. Died for the sins of the world d. Resurrected from the dead e. Ascended into Heaven f. Return once to claim His own. (Mat. 16:16, Is. 7:14, Heb. 2:9, I Cor. 15:20, Phil. 2:9-11, Rev. 1:7) 4. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and our teacher who indwells every born again believer. (John 14:26) 5. The Bible is the plenary (fully) inspired word of Godwithout a mixture of error. (II Timothy 3:16) 6. Baptism is to be by immersion in water and represents the death, burial, and resurrection of JesusChrist. (Matthew 3:13-17) 7. The Lord's Supper is a remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. (Matthew 26:26-29) 8.
